About us

Dadaal Network Organisation

is a national, non-governmental, non–profit making and developmental organization registered under the federal law of Somali government.

DAN was established in 2010 by the initiative of highly committed Somali intellectuals and Somali civil advocates to implement different Peace programs that empower Somali Civil Society and unite them for building a peaceful and democratic Somali society, promote Human Rights, Develop health institutions and tackle humanitarian crisis.

Specific Objectives and strategies

Specific objectives

To support the local communities in the establishment of sustainable social services through support of education, enhancing awareness on Human Rights, Peace Building, conflict prevention management and transformation, and promotion of public Peace awareness programs.

To assist the Civil Society in skill acquisition and self-reliance program and fight against poverty. This will be achieved through appropriate/marketable training in the hand skills fabricating, electricity, food processing, manufacturing etc.

To campaign and raise public awareness against HIV/AIDS and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and gender-based violence (GBV).
