The Dadal Network Organization (DAN)

is a national, non-governmental, non–profit making and developmental organization registered under the federal law of Somali government.

DAN was established in 2010 by the initiative of highly committed Somali intellectuals and Somali civil advocates to implement different Peace programs that empower Somali Civil Society and unite them for building a peaceful and democratic Somali society, promote Human Rights, Develop health institutions and tackle humanitarian crisis.

Its establishment came at a time when Somali communities were under chaotic and anarchy situation and wide spread violence existed almost everywhere in the country. It has been established to promote the welfare of the marginalised and poor sectors of the society.

To empower the communities in order to participate in efforts geared towards improving their socio-economic life and democracy

Management and Organizational structure

DAN management structure is designed to encourage flexibility and autonomy on the part of its core management team and subordinate staff. The structure encourages intellectual creativity and innovation among staff members and volunteers to be productive in desirable working conditions. It is also designed to ensure transparency and accountability. The key management organs of DAN comprise the Board of Directors, Executive Director, Regional Programme director, and
